Here gonna detail some of the practices that i found to be more profitable when running a LN BTC node:
1 Use a web interface like LN-ADMIN for administration.
2 Good seed password but easy to remember.
3 Connect to peer nodes with good ranks.
4 Create channels whit local balance of around 200 USD of BTC value.
5 No need to specify remote balance at the moment of channel creation.
6 Use RPC command to shutdown properly the bitcoin core node associated with the LN node.
7 Enable LNURL.
8 Use a strong RPC password on your configuration.
9 Frequently connect to good peers check 1ml.com and start selecting from there.
